A press conference was held December 10, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at City Hall. The Events Center request for proposals evaluation team conducted interviews December 9 for the architectural and engineering design services for the Events Center.

The following teams were interviewed:

• Ellerbe Becket and Koch Hazard Architects
• TSP and Populous
• Sink Combs Dethlefs and Koch Hazard Architects

We are excited to announce the team selected was Sink Combs Dethlefs and Koch Hazard Architects.

This team will be introduced at the City Council Informational Meeting during the Events Center Update agenda item on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 4 p.m., at the Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West Tenth Street.
