On December 9, 2011, at 1424 hours, emergency personnel responded to a reported airplane crash at 4201 North Maverick Place. The documentation for the flight showed the following personnel to be listed onboard as the pilot and passengers.

• Passengers:
• Kevin Anderson, 50, of Sioux Falls
  
• Joshua Lambrecht, 30, of Brandon
  
• Daniel Swets, 47, of Sioux Falls

Next of kin have been notified; however, positive identification has not been made at this point.
