On December 15, 2011, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Sioux Falls Police Officers were dispatched to the Fireside Casino for an armed robbery with a handgun.

The suspect entered the Fireside Casino, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the employee. He fled north from the casino on foot. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a male, in his twenties, 5’9”, with a slender build. The suspect was wearing black sweatpants, a grey hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, a face mask, and glasses. The suspect left with an unknown amount of cash.
