The City of Sioux Falls has given official notices to the Events Center Architect and Design Team and the Construction Manager to proceed with designing and building a new Events Center.

The official project kickoff date is today, December 16, 2011, when Sink Combs Dethlefs and Koch Hazard will begin work to finalize the design with guidance and input from Mortensen Construction.
