Daytime Lane Closures—West 50th Street  (Between South Elmwood Avenue and South Western Avenue)

Beginning at 7 a.m on Monday, January 9, 2012, construction crews will be working in the center of West 50th Street between the intersections of South Elmwood Avenue and South Western Avenue. Traffic through the area and access for local businesses will be maintained.

The work will include repairing two sanitary sewer manholes within the street. During construction, traffic cones will be removed between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m., and access to the entire roadway will be allowed. This work is anticipated to be completed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
