The Sioux Falls Police Department has arrested Mark Anthony Christians, a 32-year-old Sioux Falls man, for second degree rape. The assault was reported earlier in the week by a teenaged female victim in Sioux Falls.

Investigators have reason to believe that Christians was posing as a teenaged female on a social networking site where he befriended the victim by acting like someone her age. Christians then lured the victim to his residence where he then assaulted her.

Police are asking that if you have any information related to this crime, to call Crime Stoppers at 367-7007. Police are also asking that parents talk with their children to find out what kind of social network sites they are on, what information they are making public, and the potential dangers of these social networking sites.
